There was a phone box on almost every corner when I was growing up in the East End of London. Nowadays a lot of people carry their own version in the form of a mobile phone in their pocket! How times have changed.
Just outside of Bethnal Green underground station I was suddenly struck with a bout of nostalgia when I saw this vision in red and felt compelled to take this pic as I joined the commuters for the evening rush home.
Currently I am vacationing on the east coast of America and having a great time meeting interior designers in the process. Please forgive my lack of blog posting during this exciting time. I plan to bring you more details in a few days.
